This is my second annual recipe calendar, which will hopefully inspire you to cook up some delicious dishes throughout 2018. Practical, craveable home cooking is what I’m all about. I love foods that keep well, dishes that get better with time in the fridge (stews, soups, braises, etc), “formulas” that you can change up with different flavorings, and meals that are good for a crowd - because feeding people and deepening relationships over a shared meal is the most meaningful and joyful part of cooking! I hope you'll find a bit of all of those things in this year's calendar.

Dietary Notes:
- All the recipes are gluten-free (although a nice piece of bread pairs well with almost all of them!)
- Four recipes include or suggest cheese as a topping, everything else is dairy-free.
- Three recipes include meat and one includes fish - in each of these I give you suggestions for vegetarian substitutes that I've tested at least once. So - this is very vegetarian friendly!
- If you make the vegetarian option and leave off the cheese or fried egg, all but one of these recipes are easily vegan.
^ Note that this is not because I wanted to please anyone, this is just how I cook. My food is veggie-forward and I use mainly whole, plant-based ingredients. These recipes are truly my favorite foods from the past year and I'm so excited to share them with you!
